The 7th Annual Foodtruck Wars Street Festival was held on July 22, 23 & 24 in a new downtown location. Our family and pet friendly festival included –food trucks, food trailers & food booths and attracted over 30,000 festival visitors. Our great line-up of food trucks, food trailers, and food booths offered a wide variety of food, dessert, and beverage choices throughout the festival.
The festival included a pet water station, the Shuboy’s Medicine Show busking tent, street market vendors, Bartari’s video game lounge, information booth and a table seating area.
We were pleased to welcome new partners: Tesla Saskatoon, Orange Theory Fitness – University Heights, Redline Harley-Davidson and Saskatoon Restoration Services who had booths set up in the hub of the festival site.
Kopas Boxing was on hand with their boxing ring and presented numerous boxing demonstrations during the festival.
Foodtruck Wars was very pleased to work with Saskatchewan Health to have their pop-up vaccine tents at the festival to administer COVID 19 vaccines. Also on hand was the Mobile Command Bus to offer assistance with the vaccine administration.
We were extremely excited again to partner with the Saskatoon & District Lions Clubs. At Foodtruck Wars Street Festival, the Saskatoon & District Lions Clubs were selling their Mega Cash Draw Raffle tickets.
We’re also happy to have our ever popular Pet Water Station on site. The water station was sponsored by DTNYXE and operated by Saskatoon Dog Rescue organization.
Back again were Your Saskatoon News as the Title Print Media sponsor and Saskatoon Media Group as the Title Radio Media sponsor. Their generous support and promotion helped to spread the word about our festival.
The festival was extremely busy and many of the food vendors reported record food sales.
